It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the 6th Baltic Congress of Neurology (BALCONE) which will be held in Vilnius, 13-16 May, 2009.
BALCONE congresses are held every three years and have turned out to be not just regional but also international forums for professional neurologists. The 6th BALCONE will present plenary lectures, oral presentations, teaching courses and poster sessions to discuss a broad spectrum of scientific and practical issues of today's neurology. It will be an excellent possibility to share ideas, personal experience, as well as meet old and find new friends, the way we use to do since the first BALCONE in 1994.

Vilnius, the historical capital of Lithuania dating back to the 14th century, is declared the Cultural Capital of Europe 2009. Its remarkable Old Town awarded with the status of World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, the oldest University in the Eastern Europe and friendly atmosphere of modern city will catch you and leave unforgettable impressions for many years.
